Two Bay Hangar Addition

Bancroft provided the architectural and engineering design for a 15,000 SF addition to an existing corporate hangar.  Project included electrical and HVAC infrastructure upgrades to accommodate the expansion, along with the civil and structural surveys and design to ensure the expansion meets updated code requirements.  The hangar was designed to the new, 100-year storm standards, with the roof reinforced to accept snow loading at 2x the code standards.

Designed specifically for the storage and maintenance of Gulfstream and Westwind jet aircraft, the expanded pad was reinforced to accept the increased wheel loading and equipment requirements.  The expansion design included the revision of the existing taxiways and aprons to support the commercial requirements of the client.
